Mother West
Born in NYC in the mid 90’s, Los Angeles based Mother West started out as a small indie label and recording studio. Over the past three decades, the company has grown into to a full-service boutique music company offering music licensing for film and television, publishing administration, creative services, publicity, promotion, distribution, artist management and music supervision.
Originally founded by musicians Charles Newman and Paul Casanova, Mother West was named after the sign on the deli downstairs from their NYC studio and apartment where they formed their band PLEASE. Under the helm of Newman, the company continues to grow it’s catalog and develop it’s community of artists, writers, producers and filmmakers.
